The Center for Integration and Mediation Services (CIMS), we are dedicated to helping community members access the resources and support they need to live with dignity and independence. Our social services are designed to assist individuals and families—especially immigrants, refugees, and newcomers—who face language, cultural, or literacy barriers when navigating daily life.
We Provide Assistance With:
- Form Completion: Helping community members fill out important documents such as applications for housing, health care, employment, and public benefits.
- Reading and Understanding Documents: Supporting individuals who need help reading letters, official papers, or notices from government agencies, schools, or employers.
- Connecting to Community Resources: Guiding clients to find the right local support services, including food assistance, housing programs, legal aid, and mental health services.
- Advocacy and Case Support: Assisting clients in communicating with service providers and agencies to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are met.
- Referrals and Follow-up: Referring individuals to trusted partner organizations and following up to ensure they receive the help they need.
Through these efforts, CIMS helps bridge communication gaps, reduce barriers, and empower individuals to become active, informed participants in their communities.
