The Center for Integration and Mediation Services (CIMS) is led by a committed and diverse Board of Directors who bring deep experience in community service, education, and organizational leadership. Abdiwali Amin
Executive Director & Founder
Abdiwali is the founder of CIMS and a passionate community advocate with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, conflict resolution, and social service coordination. He has worked to promote inclusion, mediation, and substance abuse prevention programs throughout Minnesota and the Rochester community.
Mohamud Ali Nur
Board Chair
Mohamud provides strategic leadership and oversight to guide the organization’s vision and governance. With a strong background in community engagement and advocacy, he ensures that CIMS operates with integrity and purpose.
Dr. Hudda Ibrahim
Vice Chair
Dr. Hudda is an educator, author, and community leader known for her expertise in diversity, inclusion, and intercultural dialogue. She supports CIMS’s mission to promote peace, cooperation, and cultural understanding across communities.
Ali Dualeh Hassan
Treasurer
Ali oversees the financial integrity and accountability of CIMS. With strong experience in financial management and community service, he ensures responsible budgeting, transparent reporting, and sustainable use of resources in support of the organization’s programs.
SECRETARY
Habiba Hajji serves as the Secretary of the Center for Integration and Mediation Services (CIMS). She is a professional nurse with extensive experience in healthcare and community service. Habiba has played a vital role in promoting health awareness, coordinating community outreach programs, and supporting immigrant families in accessing medical and social services. Her dedication, organizational skills, and compassion have made her an invaluable member of the CIMS leadership team.
